LA PLUME, Pa.- The Keystone College field team defeated Bryn Athyn 10-0 at the Turf Field Saturday afternoon in CSAC play.
At halftime, the field hockey honored seniors Julia Blahut (Pompton Plains, N.J./Pequannock), Taylor Cercone (Dallas, Pa./Lake Lehman), Alex Williams (Elkton, Md./The Tome School), and student assistant coaches Krista Strausser and Gabe Reyes.
Standout Performers
- The Giants picked up the three goals in the first quarter as Vicky Mainero (Francisco Alvarez, Buenos Aires, Argentina/), Maria Tomada (Buenos Aires, Aregentina/San Vicente de Paul), and Julianna Santiago (Allentown, Pa./Louis E. Dieruff) scored for Keystone.
- The second quarter saw Courtney Dwyer (Scranton, Pa./Lackawanna Trail) providing two goals for the home team while Miranda Mascia (Blakeslee, Pa./Pocono Mountain West) and Cercone both chipping in with one.
- Fiona Torres Moino (Villa Crespo, Bueno Aires, Argentina/Ecos) found the back of the cage in the third quarter.
- To conclude the scoring, Williams and Blahut provided fourth quarter goals.
- Williams led the game with two assists while Mainero, Santiago, and Blahut both had one assist.

Keystone outshot Bryn Athyn 30-2. The Giants had 12 shots on goal as well as five penalty corners on the day.
What's Next
The Giants, now 8-4 (3-0 CSAC), will prepare for their second to last nonconference game of the season as they battle Delaware Valley University on the road on Oct. 13 at 4 p.m.
