Giants Run Past Rosemont 85-53

Keystone used balanced scoring attack to defeat the Ravens.

ROSEMONT, Pa. - Four players finished in double figures to lead a balanced scoring attack for the Keystone College women's basketball team, as the Giants picked up a 32-point road win at Rosemont College in CSAC action on Tuesday night.

  • With the 85-53 victory, Keystone improves to 3-1 (2-0 CSAC) while Rosemont drops to 0-3 (0-2 CSAC).

Standout Performers

  • Both Mac Oribello (San Diego, Calif./Westview) and Lee Gordon (Philadelphia, Pa./Penn Wood) finished with 19 points, combining to shoot 15-of-25 from the field, including five three's by Oribello.
  • Oribello shot 5-of-11 from deep and provided three rebounds, two assists and two steals in 27 minutes. Gordon shot 8-of-11 from the field and grabbed a game-high five steals in the win.
  • Abby Ritz (Tunkhannock, Pa./Tunhannock Area) followed with 17 points off the bench, going 7-of-11 from the field, while totaling seven boards. Renata Alberici (Hazlet, N.J./Raritan) enjoyed a double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds, shooting a perfect 5-of-5 from the field.
  • Katie Price (Fredonia, N.Y./Fredonia) and Bella Lamonea (Glendora, Calif./South Hills) combined for 12 points, 11 rebounds and nine assists, while Megan Weber (South Williamsport, Pa./South Williamsport Area) and Laya Butts (Wilkes-Barre, Pa./Coughlin) totaled six rebounds off the bench.
  • For Rosemont, two players finished with double-doubles as Angel Ricks notched 16 points with 10 rebounds and Aalyssa Rogers provided 12 points and 10 helpers.

  • Keystone jumped out of the gate with a 12-0 run to start the game and increased that lead to 19-4, finishing the first quarter ahead 27-12.
