LA PLUME, Pa.- The Keystone College field hockey team picked up a hard-fought win Saturday night as they defeated the Morrisville State Mustangs, 1-0.
Standout Players
- Vicky Mainero (Francisco Alvarez, Buenos Aires, Argentina/St. Patrick's College) scored the team's lone goal in the third quarter, her third of the season. Maria Tomada (Buenos Aires, Aregentina/San Vicente de Paul) had the assist.
- Goalkeeper Casey Stratton (Ellicott City, Md./Centennial) recorded three saves for Keystone as she recorded her first career shutout.

Keystone had the advantage on both corners (16-1) and shots (16-3). Tomada recorded seven shots in tonight's game while Mainero provided four shots. Despite the loss, Mustangs' goalkeeper Morgan Dueber recorded 14 saves.

With the win, Keystone moves to 4-1. They return to the field on Tuesday, Sept. 14 for a 7 p.m. matchup with Kean University.
