LA PLUME, Pa.- The Keystone College field hockey team fell to No. 5 Kean University 10-0 Wednesday evening at the Keystone College Turf Field.
Standout Performers
- Sophomore goalkeepers Casey Stratton (Ellicott City, Md./Centennial) and Hannah Osbahr (Old Bridge, N.J./Old Bridge) each recorded seven saves in the defeat.
- Taylor Cercone (Dallas, Pa./Lake Lehman) and Angelina Morley (Deposit, N.Y./Deposit) combined for three defensive saves.Â

Kean University had the advantage on shots (33-3) and penalty corners (14-1). Vicky Mainero (Francisco Alvarez, Buenos Aires, Argentina/St. Patrick's College) led Keystone with two shots on goal while Maria Tomada (Buenos Aires, Aregentina/San Vicente de Paul) had one shot. For the Cougars, Laura Stump led the squad as she scored two goals in tonight's contest. She also led the team with shots on goal as she tallied seven shots in the win. The Cougars were issued two green cards during the game. Keystone was issued with one.

The Giants drop to 4-2 on the season with the loss tonight. Their next game will be on Thursday, Sept. 16 when they take on Wells College at home beginning at 6 p.m.
