Football Week 4 Preview: Hobart

La PLUME, Pa. - The Keystone College football program will head to Geneva, N.Y. on Saturday, Sept. 25 to take on Hobart College in the final non-conference contest of the 2021 campaign. 
 
The Giants (0-3) will be kicking off at Hobart (3-0) at 6 p.m.

OFFENSE
Kevin Lewis (Philadelphia, Pa./Imhotep Charter) paced the Giants offense last week with a pair of one-yard scores against William Paterson, both coming in the 1st quarter. Lewis finished the day with 16 carries and 31 yards. 
 
Tom Roach (Burlington City, N.J./Burlington City) went 12-of-22 for 134 yards through the air, finding Jorden Cook (New Paltz, N.Y./New Paltz) four times for 58 yards. Chad Jones (Bear, Del./Alexis I. DuPont) and Christopher Diaz (Lodi, N.J./Lodi) both hauled in two receptions. 
 
DEFENSE
Jerell Springer (Brooklyn, N.Y./Midwood) and Frankie Vega (Edison, N.J./Edison) notched interceptions, with Vega returning his 15 yards. Sean Tocci (Lodi, N.J./Lodi), Sean Pettway (Ellenville, N.Y./Ellenville) and Springer all finished with six tackles apiece. 
 
Quentin Tibbs (New Brunswick, N.J./New Brunswick), Desmond Taylor and Fushawn Liggins (Scranton, Pa./West Scranton) recorded tackles for loss. 
 
SPECIAL TEAMS
Zac Cost (Dalton, Pa./) punted six times for 221 yards (36.8 avg) with a long of 43 yards and two inside the 20-yard line. 
 
Aalijah Sampson (Glens Falls, N.Y./Glens Falls) returned one punt for 23 yards while Darrien Tabb (Pennsauken, N.J./) and Cook had five kick returns, amounting to 101 yards. 
 
HOBART 
The Statesmen have defeated Alfred, Morrisville State and St. John Fisher this season, scoring no less than 35 points in those wins.  
 
Tim Denham, Jr. is averaging 107.3 yards per game on the ground, rushing for 322 yards and 4 touchdowns. Rayshawn Boswell has tallied six scores this year. 
 
David Krewson is 35-of-64 with 412 yards, 1 TD and 2 INT through the air. Alex LaBella is Krewson's favorite target, hauling in 13 catches this season for 119 yards and 1 TD. Chris Bartosic has 9 catches for 106 yards. 
 
CJ Calero and Bryan Aguilar lead the Hobart defense, combining for 29 total tackles as the Statesmen have five players with double-digit stops. Hobart has picked off opposing QB's eight times this year. 
 
WHAT'S NEXT 
Keystone will return home on Oct. 2 to host Anna Maria in an ECFC contest at 12 p.m.
