CLARKS SUMMIT, Pa. – The Keystone College women's volleyball enjoyed a 3-0 sweep at Clarks Summit University on Saturday to begin CSAC play.
With the win, Keystone improves to 6-8, 1-0 CSAC and the Giants return home to host Bryn Athyn (0-9) on Wednesday, Oct. 5 at 7 p.m.
Clarks Summit drops to 0-14, 0-1 CSAC and the Defenders remain at home to host Cairn (10-2) on Wednesday at 7 p.m.
Keystone defeated CSU 25-10, 25-12 and 25-8. The Giants hit .247 on the day and limited the Defenders to a negative hitting mark on the match.
Adrianna Derrick (Oklahoma City, Okla./Putnam City) led all players with 11 kills while Sage Superko (Laceyville, Pa./Wyalusing Valley) and Christina Detrick (Tunkhannock, Pa./Tunkhannock Area) tallied six and three kills, respectively.
Hannah Ankerbrand-Ochoa (Germantown, Md./Clarksburg) tallied 13 assists and three aces while Hailey Herneisey (Middletown, Pa./Middletown Area) notched 11 digs. Kaylee Sargent (Tioga, Pa./Williamson) provided seven digs.
