LA PLUME, Pa.- The Keystone College women's volleyball team enjoyed another CSAC sweep as they took down the Bryn Athyn College Lions 3-0 Tuesday evening in the Gambal Athletic Center.
Keystone won 25-15, 25-11, and 25-12 to earn the sweep. Keystone improves to 7-8 (2-0 CSAC). Bryn Athyn falls 0-11 (0-2 CSAC).
Rebecca Jackson (Quakertown, Pa./Salem Christian School) and Elise Burk (Paw Paw, Mich./Paw Paw) combined for 19 kills. Hannah Ankerbrand-Ochoa (Germantown, Md./Clarksburg) recorded 23 assists, five service aces, and three kills. Sage Superko (Laceyville, Pa./Wyalusing Valley) and Adrianna Derrick (Oklahoma City, Okla./Putnam City) both had four kills on the night.
Devany Obin (Williamsburg, Va./Bruton) and Ankerbrand-Ochoa combined for nine aces. Kaylee Sargent (Tioga, Pa./Williamson) and Karielys Gonzalez Ramirez (Lebanon, Pa./Lebanon) together had 17 digs.
For Bryn Athyn, Sabrina Brock tallied seven kills while Tegan Blair had a game leading two service aces.
Keystone women's volleyball returns to action on Saturday afternoon, Oct. 8, for an away CSAC match against Notre Dame of Maryland University at 4 p.m. Bryn Athyn will host Cedar Crest College at 11 a.m. on the same day.
