LA PLUME, Pa.- The Keystone College women's volleyball team suffered a 3-1 setback to visiting SUNY Delhi 3-1 Thursday evening in the Ace Spalding Arena. Keystone drop to 8-10 with Delhi improving to 8-7.
Keystone dropped the first two sets by a score of 25-22 and 25-8. They won a thrilling third set 25-23, but loss the fourth set 25-20.
Adrianna Derrick (Oklahoma City, Okla./Putnam City) and Rebecca both recorded 10 kills. Hannah Ankerbrand-Ochoa (Germantown, Md./Clarksburg) had a match high 14 assists. Hailey Herneisey (Middletown, Pa./Middletown Area) contributed with 26 digs. Ankerbrand-Ochoa and Sage Superko (Laceyville, Pa./Wyalusing Valley) posted two blocks in the nonconference contest. For the visiting Broncos, Sage Renneisen and Stephanie Burke combined for 23 kills. Gianna Milita had a match high nine service aces.
Keystone will resume conference play on Saturday, Oct. 15, as they travel to Langhorne, Pa. for a 12 p.m. matchup with Cairn University. SUNY Delhi will resume North Atlantic Conference play on the 15th as they welcome SUNY Canton to their court at 6 p.m.
