LA PLUME, Pa.- The Keystone College women's soccer team fell at home to Bryn Athyn 7-0 Monday evening at the Keystone College Turf Field. With the loss, Keystone drops to 5-6-1 (2-3-1 CSAC) while Bryn Athyn improves to 8-2-1 (4-1 CSAC).
Bryn Athyn's Ashley Rivera tallied a hat trick and assist for the Lions. Lindsay Kinksy contributed with two goal while Joseline Tlapaya and Vanessa Squares scored one. Rivera, Shea Gormley, Kira Bradley, Lane Wilson Mattison, and Kayla Smith had an assist. Giants goalkeeper Annie Metzger (Chambersburg, Pa./Chambersburg Area) made 18 saves in net.
Bryn Athyn outshot Keystone 39-3 with a 3-1 advantage on corner kicks. Â Hailey Dunham (Southgate, Mich./Inter-City Baptist) posted two shots with Chloe Hoffman (Danville, Pa./Danville Area) tallying the other. Two yellow cards were given during the match.
Keystone remains home for their final home match of the season as they host Rosemont College on Senior Day, Oct.22 at 4 p.m. for. Bryn Athyn will host Rosemont on Wednesday, Oct. 19 at 7 p.m.
