PHOENIXVILLE, Pa. - The Keystone College women's volleyball team enjoyed a 3-0 road CSAC win at Valley Forge on Saturday afternoon.
With the win, the Giants improve to 9-12 (4-2 CSAC) while the Patriots drop to 2-15 (0-7 CSAC). Keystone will head to Rosemont on Tuesday, Oct. 25 before returning home to host St. Elizabeth (Oct. 26) and Wilson (Oct. 28).
Currently, Keystone is tied for fourth in the CSAC standings with Cairn.
The Giants won the opening set 25-8 and claimed the next two, 25-13 and 25-19.
Adrianna Derrick (Oklahoma City, Okla./Putnam City) floored a match-high seven kills, hitting .636 on the day. Elise Burk (Paw Paw, Mich./Paw Paw) followed with two kills. Seven different Giants tallied one kill each.
Hannah Ankerbrand-Ochoa (Germantown, Md./Clarksburg) dished out seven assists while Devany Obin (Williamsburg, Va./Bruton) enjoyed five aces and five helpers. The Giants finished with 19 service aces as Hailey Herneisey (Middletown, Pa./Middletown Area) tallied six with Jasmine Adorno (Port Orange, Fla./Atlantic) and Karielys Gonzalez Ramirez (Lebanon, Pa./Lebanon) notching three apiece.
Gonzalez Ramirez and Kaylee Sargent (Tioga, Pa./Williamson) combined for 18 digs on the back row.
