BALTIMORE, Md. - Megan Weber (South Williamsport, Pa./South Williamsport Area) netted four goals for the Keystone College women's soccer team in Saturday's regular-season finale at Notre Dame of Maryland, as the Giants enjoyed an 8-0 shutout win.
In process of the win, the Giants (6-7-2, 3-4-2 CSAC) earned the No. 6 seed in the upcoming CSAC Tournament and will head to No. 3 seed Wilson College in the quarterfinals on Monday, Oct. 31 with time to be announced. The Gators end the year at 4-9 (2-7 CSAC).
Weber's four goals are tied for third-most in single-game program history, tying her own mark back on Oct. 6, 2021 against SEU.
The Giants tallied two first-half goals but exploded for six second-half markers to run away with the win. Weber and Amilee Miller (South Williamsport, Pa./South Williamsport Area) provided the first-half scores.
Weber scored three markers in the second half and Brooke Freni (Glendora, N.J./Triton Regional), Natalie Cross (Hop Bottom, Pa./Mountain View) and Miller all found the back of the net. Keystone outshot NDM 35-3 on the day. Weber led all players with eight shots while Miller, Cross, Freni and Chloe Hoffman (Danville, Pa./Danville Area) all tallied six shots each
