BALTIMORE, Md. – The Keystone College volleyball team dropped a 3-0 decision at Notre Dame of Maryland in CSAC action on Saturday.
The Giants are now 7-9 (2-1 CSAC) and will return home to host Cedar Crest on Tuesday, Oct. 11 at 7 p.m. The Gators improve to 9-5 (3-0 CSAC).
NDM won the opening set, 25-19, and followed that with 25-12 and 25-17 wins. The Gators hit .236 on the day and limited Keystone to a negative hitting percentage.
Adrianna Derrick (Oklahoma City, Okla./Putnam City) and Rebecca Jackson (Quakertown, Pa./Salem Christian School) combined for nine kills and five digs while Brianna Aldridge (Lebanon, Pa./Cedar Crest) tallied three kills. Elise Burk (Paw Paw, Mich./Paw Paw) turned out two kills, 10 assists, four digs, and two aces.
Karielys Gonzalez Ramirez (Lebanon, Pa./Lebanon), Hailey Herneisey (Middletown, Pa./Middletown Area) and Kaylee Sargent (Tioga, Pa./Williamson) combined for 16 digs.
For the Gators, Ciarra Bockstie and Rosemary O'Brien tallied eight kills each, with Bocktie hitting .500 in the match.
