ITHACA, N.Y.- The Keystone College men's basketball team came up short against Ithaca College by a final score of 95-80 Tuesday evening in the Ben Light Gymnasium.
With the loss, Keystone drops to 0-2. Ithaca improves to 2-2.
Three Giants finished in double figures as Javen Flowers-Smith (Atlanta, Ga./Pembroke Pines Charter) led the Giants with 30 points. The freshman also had five rebounds and three assists in the game. Daivel Jackson (Kingston, N.Y./Kingston) had a double-double with 20 points and 12 rebounds while Jack Anderson (Davie, Fla./Western) finished the contest with 17 points. For the Bombers, Luka Radovich posted a career high of 40 points. He also grabbed seven rebounds.
Ithaca barely out rebounded the Giants, 43-41. Keystone shot approximately 44 percent from the field. Both squads struggled shooting from three as they were combined 17-59 from downtown.
Keystone will return home for their home opener as they host SUNY Oneonta on Thursday, Nov. 17 at 6 p.m. Ithaca will travel to Cornell University on Nov. 18 for a 7 p.m. exhibition game.
