LA PLUME, Pa.- The Keystone College men's basketball team fell in their home opener to SUNY Oneonta 82-67 Thursday evening in the Gambal Athletic Center.
With the loss, Keystone drops to 0-3 with SUNY Oneonta moving to 4-0.
Javen Flowers-Smith (Atlanta, Ga./Pembroke Pines Charter) had his second straight game with 30 points as he scored 30 points with three rebounds, one assist, and one steal. Daivel Jackson (Kingston, N.Y./Kingston) recorded a double with 12 points and 15 rebounds. Jack Anderson (Davie, Fla./Western) scored 14 points and dished out six assists.
SUNY Oneonta was led by Joseph Bull who had a near triple-double. Bull wrapped up his stellar performance with 24 points, 22 rebounds, and eight assists.
Two Red Dragons almost finished the night with a double-double. Daniel Derice poured on 21 points and nine rebounds while Michael Ortale contributed 14 points and eight rebounds.
The Red Dragons out-rebounded the Giants 57-34 with 32 being offensive rebounds. Oneonta had 22 second-chance points in the contest. Keystone shot approximately 45 percent from the field.
Keystone will return following Thanksgiving break as they welcome nearby Marywood University on Tuesday, Nov. 29 at 7 p.m. Oneonta will open SUNYAC play at home on the same day as they host SUNY New Paltz at 7:30 p.m.
