Giants Fall in Overtime on Last Second Buzzer Beater

LA PLUME, Pa.- The Keystone College men's basketball team suffered a heartbreaking overtime loss on a last second buzzer-beating three to Marywood University 93-92 Tuesday evening in the Gambal Athletic Center.

With the loss, Keystone drops to 0-4. Marywood improves to 4-3.

Jack Anderson (Davie, Fla./Western) tied a program record in tonight's game as he scored 49 points. He contributed with five rebounds and two assists. Also, Anderson is now tied for second in three's in a game as he had eight this evening. Daivel Jackson (Kingston, N.Y./Kingston) finished with a double-double with 17 points and 11 rebounds.

For the visiting Pacers, three players from Marywood finished in double figures. Jason Holman had a near double-double with a game high 26 points and 9 rebounds. Caleb Vigil and Brendan Franko both tallied double-doubles. Vigil had 24 points with 10 rebounds. Franko equated 11 points and 11 rebounds.

In the overtime period, Anderson made two free throws to give the Giants a 92-90 lead with four seconds remaining. After a Pacer timeout, Marywood drove down the court, and found Trevor Seitz in the right-hand corner of the court for the game winning three as time expired to give the Giants a crushing defeat.

There were a combine 27 three's in the contest. Marywood barely outrebounded Keystone 41-39. Keystone shot 54 percent from the field. There were nine lead changes in the game.

Keystone will host Immaculata University on Thursday, Dec 1 at 7 p.m. Marywood will return home after two straight away games as they welcome Manhattanville College on Friday, Dec. 2 at 7 p.m.
