LA PLUME, Pa.- The Keystone College women's basketball grabbed their first win of the 2022-23 season with an 80-62 win over Penn State-Berks Friday evening in the Gambal Athletic Center. With the win, Keystone improves to 1-4. Penn State- Berks falls to 0-3.
Riley Berry (Margate, Fla./Piper) enjoyed another stellar night on the court with 27 points and 4 assists. She had seven threes' in the contest. Renata Alberici (Hazlet, N.J./Raritan) was a rebound away from a double-double. The senior tallied 13 points with nine rebounds. Kwashanti Holmes (Yonkers, N.Y./Woodlands) finished the game with 11 points, six rebounds, and five assists. For Penn State-Berks, Lyla Spencer and Lekaiah Solomon combined for 33 points and 14 rebounds.
Keystone shot close to 46% from the field. They made 15 threes' in this evening's game. The Nittany Lions outrebounded the Giants 44-33.
The Giants will play one more game before Thanksgiving as they host St. Elizabeth University as they open conference play on Tuesday, Nov. 22 at 7 p.m. Penn State Berks will be back in action after the holiday when they play Gwynedd Mercy University on Nov. 29 at 6 p.m.
