Balanced Scoring Attack Leads Keystone Past PSU Berks 81-70

READING, Pa. - Javen Flowers-Smith (Atlanta, Ga./Pembroke Pines Charter) scored a game-high 28 points as five players finished in double figures, leading the Keystone College men's basketball team to an 81-70 non-conference victory at Penn State Berks.
With the win, the Giants move to 2-4 and will return home to host Alfred State tomorrow at 3 p.m. PSU Berks falls to 3-5.
Keystone held a slim 38-37 lead at the break before outscoring the Lions 43-33 in the second half. The Giants shot 53.7 percent (29-of-54) for the game and outrebounded PSU Berks 35-29.
Flowers-Smith shot 10-of-20 from the field and 4-of-9 from three, tallying five assists, three steals, and three rebounds.
Daivel Jackson (Kingston, N.Y./Kingston) enjoyed a double-double with 19 points and 14 rebounds while Marcus Bauman (Scranton, Pa./Scranton) provided 14 points, nine boards, and two steals.
Both D'Andre Sutherland (Miramar, Fla./West Broward) and Jack Anderson (Davie, Fla./Western) chipped in 10 points apiece.
For PSU Berks, Luke Collins tallied 20 points, going 6-of-13 from deep.
