La PLUME, Pa. – Keystone men's basketball team dropped a 72-66 affair to visiting Rosemont Monday evening in Colonial States Athletic Conference play at the Gambal Athletic Center.
The Giants battled back and forth to keep the score close down the stretch, but the Ravens pulled away late, outscoring Keystone 13-7 to take the victory.
With the loss, the Giants fell to 5-6 in the CSAC (7-13 overall) while Rosemont improved to 7-3 CSAC, 8-10 overall.
Keystone is now tied at No. 4 in the standings with Clarks Summit, but the Giants would hold the tiebreaker because of having swept the regular season series.
Outstanding Performers
- Jack Anderson (Davie, Fla./Western) led the Giants with 22 points to finish his 12th-consecutive game in double-digit scoring figures.
- Tyrell Lacoste (Aberdeen, Md./Aberdeen) had his first career double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds. With the Giants down seven points near the seven-minute mark of the second half, the senior provided a late spark with seven points as part of a 9-2 run to tie the game at 59.
- Zaire Mitchell led Rosemont on 26 points along with six rebounds and four steals. The senior put an emphatic cap on the Ravens' victory with a driving one-handed dunk off the dish from Chris Briner at the 2:27 mark to extend Rosemont's lead to nine points.

- With the game tied at 59 under five and a half minutes remaining, the Giants went 2 for 8 from the field the rest of the way and 0 for 4 from beyond the arc. Rosemont shot 4 of 6 from the field and 5 for 6 from the free-throw line.
- Keystone went 9 of 11 (81.8 percent) at the charity stripe while Rosemont hit on 17 of 25 (68.0 percent) free-throw attempts.
- Rosemont shot 7 of 19 (36.8 percent) from three-point range. Keystone was 18.5 percent (5 for 27).
