Box Score 1 MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. - The Keystone College softball team went 1-1 on Tuesday afternoon, falling to Greenville University 7-2 before earning a 7-0 forfeit win over Sarah Lawrence College in day two of the Fastpitch Dreams Spring Classic.
The Giants are now 2-2 on the young year and will play Rutgers-Newark (2-2) and SUNY Morrisville (0-2) on Thursday, starting at 1:30 p.m. Greenville improves to 3-9 while Sarah Lawrence falls to 0-4.
Game One: Greenville 7, Keystone 2
Alyssa Booth (Holland, Pa./Council Rock North), Erin Dunn (Centermoreland, Pa./Tunkhannock), and Mara Brooks (Manassas, Va./Brentsville) all collected two hits. Dunn and Kabrina Birmingham (Burlington, N.J./Burlington City) tallied the Giants' runs.
Jordan Frye (Cheltenham, Pa./St. Hubert Catholic) pitched six innings with two strikeouts, 13 flyouts, and two groundouts.
Game Two: Keystone 7, Sarah Lawrence 0 (forfeit)
The Giants were winning 16-0 in the third inning before an injury forced the Griffins to call the contest.
