Lilly Cross Named Head Women’s Soccer Coach

Cross will begin her duties on March 28.

La PLUME, Pa. - The Keystone College Department of Athletics has announced that Lilly Cross has been hired as the new head women's soccer coach. 

Cross is no stranger to Keystone as she served as the head assistant coach with the Giants in 2019 in addition to serving as the head coach of the Abington Youth Soccer Club in Clarks Summit since 2020. 

"I am very grateful for the opportunity Keystone College has given me to coach their women's soccer team," Cross expressed.  

"Keystone is a wonderful institution that truly cares about its students and staff members. I couldn't be happier to be here and I'm looking forward to growing this team and helping them reach their full potential." 

A 2019 graduate of Messiah University, Cross was part of the Falcons program that won the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Commonwealth title in 2015, 2016, and 2018 and helped lead the Falcons to NCAA Division III Sweet 16, Elite Eight, and Final Four appearances, including national runners-up in 2016. 

Cross played in 93 career matches at Messiah, tallying four goals, 13 assists, and 21 points. 

In addition to playing at Messiah, Cross was a five-year starter for Hershey F.C. in the Women's Premier Soccer League (WPSL), including being named a WPSL All-Star in 2016.  

Cross graduated from Cumberland Valley High School in 2015 where she was a four-year starter with the Eagles, going 93-7-3, winning a state title her freshman season and four-straight Mid-Penn Conference championships. 

A Mechanicsburg native, Cross resides in Dalton with her husband, Zeb.
