Women's Soccer Records 13 Saves Against Cedar Crest College

ALLENTOWN, PA- Bella Buonopane finished with 13 saves for the Keystone College women's soccer team in Friday's United East Conference matchup at Cedar Crest College. The Giants fell 9-0 at the FalconPlex.

Buonopane recorded seven saves in the first half and added six after the break. Her first-half effort included four stops in a 23-second span, beginning with a save on Makenna Tavares at 6:49. She followed with a stop against Camille Chambers and turned away consecutive attempts by Kenny Akinsehinwa to close the sequence.

Later in the half, Buonopane denied shots by Jasmin Alvarado and Niyema Romero before adding a save against Alaina Wolpert. Lexi Reyes (Orange, VA/Orange County) and Chloe Ibarra (Denver, CO/Northglenn) entered from the bench for Keystone during the opening period.

The Giants limited Cedar Crest to two goals in the second half after the Falcons scored seven before the break. Buonopane continued to contribute in goal, stopping three more attempts by Akinsehinwa along with shots from Chambers, Alvarado and Sierra Krout. Her final save came on Krout's attempt at 89:40.
