La PLUME, Pa. – The Keystone College baseball team split with visiting University of Valley Forge on Monday afternoon in CSAC action, defeating the Patriots in game one, 6-0, before falling in game two, 4-3.
The Giants now stand at 12-13 (6-2 CSAC) and are scheduled to host Misericordia University (21-11) tomorrow at 3:30 p.m. The Patriots improve to 6-17 (3-5 CSAC) and host Marywood University (18-8) on Wednesday, April 20.

Game One: Keystone 6, UVF 0
The Giants tallied 10 hits as Hinkley tossed six innings for his sixth win of the season, scattering just three hits with seven strikeouts. The righty threw 66 pitches and forced six flyouts and five groundouts.
Bobby Pokorney (Margate, Fla./J.P. Taravella), Chris Hadsall (Lehman, Pa./Lake Lehman), and Kelly all collected two hits each while Gouldsbury and Abreu tallied two RBI each.
Jason Thomas (Miami, Fla./Barbara Goleman) started the scoring by stealing home in the third before a two-run single to center by Abreu gave the Giants a 3-0 lead. Gouldsbury drove home Julio Acosta (Elizabeth, N.J./Hudson Catholic) and Pokorney a double to right-center before an RBI single by Kelly in the fifth.
Zanghi tossed two frames in relief, striking out two. Logan Lixie (Tamarac, Fla./J.P. Taravella) appeared for one inning from the bullpen.
Game Two: UVF 4, Keystone 3
The Patriots jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the third and held off the Giants in inclement weather, outhitting Keystone 11-10.
Hadsall finished 3-for-5 with an RBI single to left in the seventh. Gouldsbury and DePietro collected two hits each. Brendan Kucharski (Throop, Pa./Mid Valley) came through with a pinch-hit RBI single to right in the sixth.
The Giants had runners in scoring position multiple times but left 15 runners stranded on base.
Adamski suffered the defeat, striking out five. Brandon Valles (Toms River, N.J./Toms River North) threw six innings of long relief, scattering four hits with six strikeouts.
