LA PLUME, Pa.- The Keystone College women's soccer team opened the 2022 season with a 7-0 defeat to Marywood University Thursday evening at the Keystone College Turf Field. With the loss, the Giants fall to 0-1 while the Pacers improve to 1-0.
Outstanding Performers
- Sophomore goalkeeper Annie Metzger (Chambersburg, Pa./Chambersburg Area) tallied 11 saves on the night.
- Freshman Hailey Dunham (Southgate, Mich./Inter-City Baptist) led the teams in shot with five while Megan Weber (South Williamsport, Pa./South Williamsport Area) and Natalie Cross (Hop Bottom, Pa./Mountain View) both had two.
- For the visiting Pacers, Carly Walters led Marywood in goals as she enjoyed a hat trick while Victoria Tzitsis had two. Walters had two assists on the night.

Marywood outshot Keystone 33-12. They had a 6-1 advantage on corner kicks.

The Giants will remain home as they host SUNY Canton on Tuesday, Sept. 6 at 4 p.m. Marywood will open their home schedule on Saturday Sept. 3 when they face off against Swarthmore College at 3 p.m.
