Football Falls to Hobart 65-6

La PLUME, Pa. – The Keystone College football team dropped a 65-6 decision to visiting Hobart College on Saturday afternoon in the final non-conference game of the season for the Giants.

Keystone drops to 0-4 and will host Gallaudet University in the ECFC opener next Saturday, Oct. 1 at 12 p.m. for Homecoming. The Statesmen improve to 3-1 and will host Ithaca College next Saturday for their Homecoming as well.

Mujaheed Muhammad (Philadelphia, Pa./Paul Robeson) enjoyed his 10th-career rushing touchdown and third of the season, scoring at the 10:53 mark in the fourth quarter to ruin Hobart's shutout bid. Muhammad rushed 12 times for 43 yards on the day.

Kevin Lewis (Philadelphia, Pa./Imhotep Charter) totaled 86 yards with 67 receiving and 19 rushing, hauling in a team-high six catches with a long of 23 yards.

Defensively, CJ Riccobono (New Hyde Park, N.Y./New Hyde Park Memorial) made seven stops while Sean Pettway (Ellenville, N.Y./Ellenville) made five. Aaron McFadden (Philadelphia, Pa./Boys' Latin Charter), Joe Manfredo (Levittown, N.Y./General Douglas MacArthur), and Dontez Crawford (Baltimore, Md./Pennsauken) all made tackles for losses.

Tom Roach (Burlington City, N.J./Burlington City) went 10-22 while Noah Hulslander (Fawn Grave, Pa./Kennard-Dale) went 2-for-4, combining for 112 yards passing.

Hobart went ahead 14-0 after the first and tacked on 28 second-quarter points to take a commanding 42-0 lead at halftime.

The Statesmen rushed for 229 yards and seven touchdowns on the ground. Blake Hansen scored on a 60-yard pick-six in the second quarter.

Tim Denham, Jr. and Andres Duran combined for five scores for Hobart.
