ELMIRA, N.Y.- Sophomore Makayla Batts (New Oxford, Pa./New Oxford) recorded the second straight hat trick for Keystone as they take care of business against the Elmira College Soaring Eagles by a final score of 6-0. The Giants move to 2-0 while the Soaring Eagles drop to 0-3.
Outstanding Players
- Batts three goals came in the 5th minute, 29th minute, and 36th minute. This is the second straight game a Keystone player scored a hat trick. The last time Keystone had consecutive games with two different players recording hat tricks was Oct. 23 and Oct. 25 of 2019 (Savanna Robinson and April Llewellyn).
- Miranda Mascia (Blakeslee, Pa./Pocono Mountain West) picked up her first goal of the season 36 seconds into the match.
- Vicky Mainero (Francisco Alvarez, Buenos Aires, Argentina/St. Patrick's College) and Maria Belen Rodriguez-Molina (Caballito, Buenos Aires, Argentina/Colegio Santa Brígida) each enjoyed a goal apiece. Mainero and Batts had one assist on the day.
