AURORA, N.Y. - Rebecca Jackson (Quakertown, Pa./Salem Christian School) enjoyed a double-double for the Keystone College women's volleyball team on Wednesday evening, but the Giants fell at Wells College 3-1 in non-league play.
Keystone (0-3) dropped the opening set, 25-20, but tied the match at 1-1, grabbing set two, 25-13. The Express (2-1), however, won the next two, 25-22 and 25-20.
Jackson floored a team-high 15 kills (.222) and contributed 12 digs on the defensive side. Adrianna Derrick (Oklahoma City, Okla./Putnam City) enjoyed eight kills on the night.
Elise Burk (Paw Paw, Mich./Paw Paw) dished out 22 assists with nine digs while Hannah Ankerbrand-Ochoa (Germantown, Md./Clarksburg) tallied nine assists, five digs, four kills and three service aces.
Sage Superko (Laceyville, Pa./Wyalusing Valley) notched three aces and four digs while Hailey Herneisey (Middletown, Pa./Middletown Area) and Karielys Gonzalez Ramirez (Lebanon, Pa./Lebanon) combined for 24 digs and four assists.
Brianna Aldridge (Lebanon, Pa./Cedar Crest) chipped in seven kills and three digs.
For the Express, Miah Williamson finished with a match-high 18 kills, hitting .654.
Keystone will return home tomorrow, hosting Penn State Scranton (0-1) at 7 p.m. inside the Gambal Athletic Center.
