BRYN MAWR, Pa. - Four Giants finished in double figures as the Keystone College women's basketball team picked up a 78-47 conference win over Rosemont College Wednesday afternoon in Alumnae Hall.
Keystone snaps a five-game losing streak and improves to 5-9 (3-3 CSAC). Rosemont drops their third straight game and fall to 2-8 (2-5 CSAC).
Riley Berry (Margate, Fla./Piper) scored 18 points with four three-pointers in the game to lead the squad. Kyleigh Monk (Havre de Grace, Md./John Carroll School) finished with 15 points, five rebounds, and four assists. Renata Alberici (Hazlet, N.J./Raritan) recorded a double-double with 11 points, 11 rebounds, and six assists. Megan Weber (South Williamsport, Pa./South Williamsport Area) scored 10 points and had three assists.
Izzy Rosario (Bethlehem, Pa./Bethlehem Catholic) and Kaitlyn Slaboda (Taylor, Pa./Riverside) combined for 15 points off the bench. Aalyssa Rogers led the Ravens with 15 points, five rebounds, and five assists.
Up 46-40 at the end of the third quarter, Keystone went on a 32- 7 run in the fourth quarter to put the CSAC contest away. Keystone shot 39 percent from the field and 33 percent from behind the three-point line. Rosemont had the edge on rebounds, 43-42.
Keystone will take a short trip to nearby Clarks Summit University to face off against the Defenders on Saturday, Jan. 14 at 1 p.m. in a rematch of last year's CSAC Championship. Rosemont will travel to Wilson College on the same day as their game begins at 4 p.m.
