LA PLUME, Pa.- The Keystone College men's basketball team enjoyed a 77-69 CSAC victory over Bryn Athyn College Saturday afternoon in the Gambal Athletic Center. With the win, Keystone moves to 7-8 (3-1 CSAC). Bryn Athyn drops to 8-7 (2-2 CSAC).
Jack Anderson (Davie, Fla./Western), Pete Laidley (Miramar, Fla./Pembroke Pines Charter), and Daivel Jackson (Kingston, N.Y./Kingston) combined for 63 points in the game. Anderson finished with 23 points and seven rebounds. Laidley had a near double-double with 21 points and eight rebounds. Daivel Jackson (Kingston, N.Y./Kingston) posted a near triple-double with 19 points, nine rebounds, and eight assists. Shane Rosencrans (Throop, Pa./Mid Valley) contributed with nine points. For the Lions, Jamal Cannady Jr. led Bryn Athyn with 24 points, eight assists, and five rebounds. Jarryn McCann had 21 points and eight rebounds off the bench.
Keystone shot 56 percent from the field and 29 percent from the three. The Giants defense held the Lions to 39 percent shooting throughout the entire contest. Keystone outrebounded Bryn Athyn, 34-31.
Keystone will host Cairn University on Wednesday, Jan. 18 at 8 p.m. Bryn Athyn will host Rosemont on the same day.
