La PLUME, Pa. – The Keystone College wrestling program hosted the University of Scranton and Bergen County College in a tri-match on Thursday night inside the Gambal Athletic Center.
CJ Riccobono (New Hyde Park, N.Y./New Hyde Park Memorial) enjoyed a 2-0 night, defeating Julian Quintaro from Bergen at 157 by decision 3-2, followed by a major decision win over Ethan Wilson of Scranton, 14-5.
Michael Palinkas (Philadelphia, Pa./Father Judge) earned his first collegiate victory with a 14-13 decision over Chris Ball of Scranton at 149.
Codi Bomboy (Montrose, Pa./Elk Lake) tallied a fall victory over Dylan Toro of Bergen at 165.
At heavyweight, Brendan Hamilton (Lennhartsville, Pa./Hamburg Area) defeated Shiv Patel of Bergen by fall in 41 seconds while Rocco Arduini (Harpursville, N.Y./Harpursville) earned a fall win over Christian Gillich of Scranton in 38 seconds.
The Giants honored Hamilton and Alex Norton (Hamburg, Pa./Hamburg Area) in between matches for Senior Night.
Keystone will compete in the Lackawanna Quad on Saturday, Jan. 28 against Bergen, RPI and the host Falcons.
