CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - The Keystone College men's basketball team dropped a 67-52 decision at Wilson College in CSAC action on Saturday afternoon.
With their third-straight defeat, the Giants fall to 8-11 (4-4 CSAC) while the Phoenix improve to 11-8 (5-3 CSAC) with their fourth-straight win.
Javen Flowers-Smith (Atlanta, Ga./Pembroke Pines Charter) enjoyed a team-high 17 points and chipped in five steals, three assists and two rebounds. Pete Laidley (Miramar, Fla./Pembroke Pines Charter) recorded a double-double with 10 points and 10 boards.
Shane Rosencrans (Throop, Pa./Mid Valley) and Daivel Jackson (Kingston, N.Y./Kingston) combined for 15 points, eight rebounds and three assists while Albert Pewa (Philadelphia, Pa./Interboro) and Marcus Bauman (Scranton, Pa./Scranton) combined for 12 boards and three helpers.Â
Wilson's Darryl Garib poured in a game-high 22 points followed by Rick Godwin, who had 20. Antonio Bussey registered a double-double with 13 points and 13 rebounds. Wilson forced 18 Keystone turnovers and limited the Giants to 21.4 percent shooting from long distance.
The Phoenix led 35-28 at the break and outscored Keystone 32-24 in the second half.
Keystone will return back home to host Saint Elizabeth in a huge league game on Wednesday, Feb. 1 at 8 p.m. inside the Gambal Athletic Center.
