LA PLUME, Pa.- The Keystone College women's soccer team picked up a dominant United East Skye Division win over the University of Valley Forge 8-0 Tuesday afternoon at the Keystone College Turf Field.
Keystone improves to 3-8 (2-3 United East) while Valley Forge drops to 0-9 (0-5 United East).
Hailey Dunham (Southgate, Mich./Inter-City Baptist) tallied a hat trick as she scored all three goals in the second half. Brooke Freni (Glendora, N.J./Triton Regional) netted one goal and recorded a match high three assists. Ashley Kirchoff (Cliffside Park, N.J./Leonia), Livia Hable (Pottsville, Pa./Pottsville Area), and Saraj Koster all scored once in the match. Kirchoff and Victory Frantz (Mifflintown, Pa./Juniata) added an assist. Valley Forge's goalkeeper Abigail Wood made 23 saves.
The Giants posted 45 shots in the contest with 30 being on goal. In addition, they had three corner kicks.
Keystone heads to St. Elizabeth University this Saturday, Oct. 14, at 12 p.m.
