LA PLUME, Pa.- The Keystone College men's soccer team suffered a 2-0 loss to Salisbury University Saturday afternoon in the team's final nonconference match of the season.
With the loss, Keystone drops to 2-11-1 while Salisbury improves to 5-4-4.
Dominic Weber (Martinsburg, W.V./Spring Mills) earned the start in goal and made three saves. For Salisbury, Sean Barwick found Gavin Miller in the 4th minute for the first goal of the match. Then, Stephen Welsh nailed a penalty kick goal in the 34th minute to give the Seagulls a 2-0 lead and eventually the win.
Salisbury outshot Keystone, 16-6. Keystone held a 4-2 margin on corner kicks.
Keystone will resume United East Conference Skye Division action on Tuesday, Oct. 17 when they go up against St. Elizabeth University at 3 p.m.
