LA PLUME, Pa.- The Keystone College men's soccer team battled to a 2-2 draw with Wilson College Sunday afternoon.
Keystone goes to 3-11-2 (3-3-1 United East Skye Division) while Wilson moves to 3-10-2 (1-3-3 United East Skye Division).
The team honored Francois Elize (Fresno, Tex./Lee) and Hector Camaja Jr. (Palisades Park, N.J./Palisades Park) in a pregame senior day ceremony.
Hernan Godoy (Bernardsville, N.J./Bernards) and Trevor Lagarde (Monroe, N.Y./Monroe-Woodbury) each tallied a goal for Keystone. Godoy scored in the 11th minute while Lagarde added his tally in the 62nd minute. Morade Mama (Jersey City, N.J./Hudson Catholic) and CJ Lampert (Linden, N.J./St. Benedict's Prep) each recorded an assist. Camaja made five saves in goal.
For Wilson, Luis Jiminez recorded the first goal of the match in the 5th minute. Towards the end of the first half, Ethan Locklear found the back of the net off a corner kick pass from Jace Williams. Phoenix goalkeeper Gerson Navarro collected six saves in the tie.
Keystone outshot Wilson, 16-12. Each team had three corner kicks on the day.
The Giants conclude the 2023 regular season on Wednesday, Oct. 25 when they face Notre Dame of Maryland University at 5 p.m. on the Keystone College Turf Field.
