LA PLUME, Pa.- The No. 1 seed Keystone College field hockey team will meet the No. 2 seed Cedar Crest College Falcons in the 2023 United East Conference Field Hockey Championship this Saturday, Nov. 4 at 1 p.m.

Keystone enjoyed a solid 2023 campaign as Erin McGinley's squad enters the contest with an overall record of 10-5 and went 3-0 in conference play. This is the program's fourth trip to the conference finals and are seeking their first conference championship in five years.
The field hockey team cruised to a 10-0 win over the No. 4 seed Lancaster Bible College in the United East Conference Semifinals Wednesday night.
Maria Tomada (Buenos Aires, Argentina/San Vicente de Paul) cashed in a game high four goals with one assist. Also scoring for the Giants included Vicky Mainero (Francisco Alvarez, Buenos Aires, Argentina/St. Patrick's College), Lillian Kennedy-Butler (Bel Air, Md./John Carroll School), Belen Rodriguez (Caballito, Buenos Aires, Argentina/Colegio Santa BrÃgida), Miranda Mascia (Blakeslee, Pa./Pocono Mountain West), and Angelina Morley (Deposit, N.Y./Deposit). Mascia led the Giants with four assists while Morley chipped in with two.
Keystone dominated on shots and penalty corners as they outshot the Chargers 22-3 and posted a 10-3 advantage on penalty corners.
Cedar Crest
The Cedar Crest College Falcons (6-12, 2-1 United East) came off of a thrilling 2-1 overtime semifinal win against the No. 3 seed Wilson College. Cedar Crest is making their second appearance in the conference championship as they finished as Colonial State Athletic Conference (CSAC) runner-ups in 2021.
Carly Picullo tallied the first goal for the Falcons in the second quarter. In the third quarter, the Phoenix equalized the game with a goal of their own. The conference semifinal eventually went into overtime following a scoreless fourth quarter.
Adrianna Hinkle recorded the game winning goal in overtime to send the Falcons to the conference championship. Cedar Crest posted an 8-7 margin on shots. Both teams recorded five penalty corners.
Previous Matchup
Keystone previously met Cedar Crest back on Oct. 18 where the Giants earned a 3-0 victory. Tomada, Mainero, and Lucia Cisilino (Tandil, Buenos Aires, Argentina/San Jose) provided goals for the Giants while Mascia, Rodriguez, and Tomada each had one assist.
