LA PLUME, Pa.- The Keystone College men's basketball team suffered a 102-81 loss to Alvernia University Thursday evening in nonconference action.
Keystone drops to 3-8 while Alvernia improves to 5-2.
Jack Anderson (Davie, Fla./Western) scored a game high 26 points with three rebounds, two assists, and two steals. Justin Hill (Deltona, Fla./Mainland) provided 12 points off the bench. Kamdyn Ayers (Fort Lauderdale, Fla./Western) and DaShaun Johnson (Montgomery Village, Md./Clarksburg) both contributed with 10 points. Scott and Johnson grabbed five rebounds and combined for five assists.
For the visiting Golden Wolves, every member of the starting five were in double figured. They were led by Robert Mullan who had 18 points with four rebouds. Alex Cercado chipped in with 15 points. Nigel Cooke, Jakob Kelly, and Kyle Gordon combined for 38 points.
Both teams shot well in this evening's contest as the Giants shot 53 percent from the field. Alvernia edged Keystone on rebounds, 33-28.
Keystone heads to Bethlehem, Pa. to take on Moravian University on Saturday, Dec. 16 at 3 p.m. in the team's final nonconference game of the 2023-24 season.
