BETHLEHEM, Pa.- The Keystone College men's basketball team were defeated 98-73 to Moravian University Saturday afternoon in the team's final nonconference game of the season.
With the loss, Keystone falls to 3-9 while Moravian improves to 4-5.
Jack Anderson (Davie, Fla./Western) scored 25 points to lead the Giants. He shot 6-of-13 from the field and was a perfect 11-of-11 from the free throw line. DaShaun Johnson (Montgomery Village, Md./Clarksburg) added 13 points with eight rebounds, and Brandon Scott (Cheltenham, Pa./Cheltenham) contributed with 11 points and five rebounds. Kamdyn Ayers (Fort Lauderdale, Fla./Western) was a rebound shy of a double-double as he had 10 points with nine rebounds. Tyair Sanders (Philadelphia, Pa./Archbishop Wood) added seven points off the bench.
Moravian was led by Marquis Ratcliff who recorded a double-double with 19 points and 13 rebounds. Porter Kelly scored 16 points and shot 60 percent in this afternoon's contest. Liam Cumminsky, Mark Howell, and Alex Dietz combined for 35 points.
The Greyhounds were up 47-31 at halftime and outscored the Giants 51-42 in the second half. Keystone shot an even 39 percent from the field while Moravian shot 46.8 percent.
Keystone returns to the court in the new year as the squad will resume United East Conference play on Wednesday, Jan. 3 against Cairn University with tipoff scheduled for 3 p.m.
