Women’s Basketball Flies Past Falcons

LA PLUME, Pa.- The Keystone College women's basketball team earned a dominant win CSAC win Wednesday evening against Cedar Crest College by a final score of 62-45 in the Gambal Athletic Center. Keystone improves to 8-12 (7-6 CSAC) while Cedar Crest falls to 1-12 (1-10 CSAC).

Kyleigh Monk (Havre de Grace, Md./John Carroll School) had a career day as she scored a game and career high 23 points with three rebounds. Kaitlyn Slaboda (Taylor, Pa./Riverside) had 15 points, eight rebounds, and four blocks. Kwashanti Holmes (Yonkers, N.Y./Woodlands) was a point away from a double-double as she scored nine points, 10 rebounds, and five assists. Izzy Rosario (Bethlehem, Pa./Bethlehem Catholic) led Keystone with 13 rebounds. The Falcons were led by Asley Wilson who scored 24 points, four assists, and four steals.

Keystone shot 38 percent from the field. They outrebounded Cedar Crest, 50-44. The Giants largest lead in the game was 22 points.

Keystone will remain home as they host Notre Dame of Maryland University on Saturday, Feb. 4 at 1 p.m. Cedar Crest hosts Valley Forge on the same day at 12 p.m.
