LA PLUME, Pa.- The Keystone College men's basketball picked up an 87-74 victory over rival Clarks Summit University Wednesday evening in CSAC action. Keystone jumps to 12-12 (8-5 CSAC). Clarks Summit drops to 6-18 (5-8 CSAC).
Javen Flowers-Smith (Atlanta, Ga./Pembroke Pines Charter) picked up right where he left off from the previous game as he scored a game-high 32 points, six rebounds, and four assists.
Daivel Jackson (Kingston, N.Y./Kingston) had another double-double with 20 points and 14 rebounds. Jack Anderson (Davie, Fla./Western) and Pete Laidley (Miramar, Fla./Pembroke Pines Charter) combined for 25 points.
For Clarks Summit, Kelvin Chest led the Defenders with 15 points. Garrett Plantz recorded a double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds.
The Giants outscored the Defenders 48-33 in the first half. Clarks Summit jumped out to an 8-2 run at the start of the second half, but the Giants were able to get back on track and get the win. Keystone shot 50 percent from the field and outrebounded Clarks Summit, 38-19.
Keystone will wrap up the regular season at home with a big Senior Day CSAC matchup with Rosemont College on Saturday, Feb. 18 at 1 p.m. Clarks Summit will travel to Wilson on the same day with their game beginning at 3 p.m. Â
