DAVENPORT, Fla. - The Keystone College baseball team saw its six-game winning streak snapped on Sunday, falling to Hamilton 8-3.
The Giants (6-5) will close out their spring break trip in Florida tomorrow morning against Wooster. Hamilton improves to 2-6.
Robert Estrada (Jersey City, N.J./Ferris) had an impressive day, going 4-for-5 with a double. Julio Acosta (Elizabeth, N.J./Hudson Catholic) drove in two runs while Chris Hadsall (Lehman, Pa./Lake Lehman) picked up an RBI.
Greg Verano (Raritan, N.J./Bridgewater-Raritan), Giovanni Diaz (Bronx, N.Y./Christopher Columbus), Justin Mann (St. John's, Fla./Bartram Trail), Acosta, and Hadsall all provided base knocks.
Jordan Art (Greenfield Township, Pa./Lakeland) started and threw five frames, striking out three with eight groundouts. Slothing Che (Santo Domingo, D.R./Instituto Tecnologico Fabio Amable Mota) and Griffin Yastremski (Bath, N.Y./Haverling) appeared in relief, with Yastremski striking out three.
Hamilton broke out for six runs combined in the fifth and sixth innings. Keystone outhit the Continentals 9-8 but was plagued with four errors.
