Women's Lax Hosts Anne Arundel in Exhibition Contest

La PLUME, Pa. – The Keystone College women's lacrosse team hosted Anne Arundel Community College in an exhibition contest on Saturday afternoon.

The River Hawks are the No. 1 ranked team in the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA), defeating the Giants 18-8.

Keystone was led by Lillian Kennedy-Butler (Bel Air, Md./John Carroll School) with three goals, followed by Meaghan Drennan (Drums, Pa./Hazleton Area) and Makayla Batts (New Oxford, Pa./New Oxford) with two each.

Miranda Mascia (Blakeslee, Pa./Pocono Mountain West) notched one goal, one assist, six ground balls, five draw controls and two caused turnovers.

Hannah Osbahr (Old Bridge, N.J./Old Bridge) made five stops on the day.

For AACC, Julia Sokolowski and Savanna Reitz each scored four goals.

Keystone will return to the field on Wednesday, April 5, as the Giants head to Mount Aloysius for a 5 p.m. non-conference contest.
