BRYN ATHYN, Pa. - The Keystone College women's lacrosse team fell at Bryn Athyn College 19-1 in the 2023 regular season finale on Saturday afternoon.
The Giants (4-7, 3-2 CSAC) earned the No. 3 seed in the upcoming CSAC tournament and will head to No. 2 seed Wilson College on Wednesday, May 3 in the semifinals.Â
The Lions improve to 9-2 (5-0 CSAC) and are the No. 1 seed in the CSAC playoffs.
Meaghan Drennan (Drums, Pa./Hazleton Area) tallied the lone goal for Keystone. Vicky Mainero (Francisco Alvarez, Buenos Aires, Argentina/St. Patrick's College) and Makayla Batts (New Oxford, Pa./New Oxford) notched two shots apiece.
Maria Tomada (Buenos Aires, Argentina/San Vicente de Paul) and Mainero led the Giants with three ground balls each.
Hannah Osbahr (Old Bridge, N.J./Old Bridge) made seven saves in the defeat.
For Bryn Athyn, Shea Gormley and Maria Storck combined for 11 goals and three assists for 14 points.
