DALLAS, Pa.- The Keystone College baseball team suffered a 10-0 loss to Salve Regina Friday morning at Misericordia University in the first game of the Dallas Regional.
Keystone drops to 30-13 and Salve Regina improves to 39-8-1.
Justin Mann (St. John's, Fla./Bartram Trail) went 2-for-2 with one walk. Both Bobby Pokorney (Margate, Fla./J.P. Taravella) and Anthony Raimo (Albany, N.Y./Christian Brothers Academy) finished the game with one base hit.
Brayan Villar (West Orange, N.J./Belleville) got the start on the mound and went 6.1 innings with eight strikeouts. Logan Lixie (Tamarac, Fla./J.P. Taravella) and Kevin Murphy (Montgomery, N.Y./Valley Central) appeared in relief.
Salve Regina scored the first run of the regional off an error in the second inning and remained that way until the bottom of the seventh inning when the Seahawks scored nine runs to bust the game wide open and ultimately give Salve Regina the win.
Keystone will face the loser of Washington & Jefferson and Misericordia tomorrow morning at 8:30 a.m.
