LA PLUME, Pa.- The Keystone College men's soccer team opened the 2023 campaign with a 2-0 defeat to Penn College Friday evening at the Keystone College Turf Field.

Keystone drops to 0-1 with Penn College going to 1-0.

Hector Camaja Jr. (Palisades Park, N.J./Palisades Park) made four saves in the defeat. Clay Nickles (Benton, Pa./Benton) and Trevor Lagarde (Monroe, N.Y./Monroe-Woodbury) provided a shot for the Giants. For the visiting Wildcats, Brandon Ratavong and Hunter Grabloff scored for Penn College with Brendan Geiger adding an assist.

Penn College outshot Keystone, 20-2. The Wildcats had six corner kicks in the season opening victory. Four yellow cards were given out during the contest.

Keystone will look for their first win on Sunday, Sept. 3 when they host Marywood University at 4 p.m. Penn College will travel to McDaniel College on the same day for a 3 p.m. match.
