LA PLUME, Pa.- The Keystone College football team fell at home to St. John Fisher 35-20 Saturday afternoon at the Keystone College Turf Field.
With the loss, Keystone drops to 1-2 and St. John Fishe moves to 2-1.
Demiko Suggs (Washington, D.C./Bell) completed 15 passes for 192 which was highlighted by a 23-yard receiving touchdown to Michael Bond (Baltimore, Md./Baltimore City). Mujaheed Muhammad (Philadelphia, Pa./Paul Robeson) and Damir Green (Philadelphia, Pa./Imhotep) each tallied a rushing touchdown. Muhammad led the Giants rushing attack with 83 yards. CJ Riccobono (New Hyde Park, N.Y./New Hyde Park Memorial) led the defense with eight total tackles. Jah'Ciere Williams (Johnstown, Pa./JP McCaskey) had his first interception of the year.
For the Cardinals, Peyton Nolan was a monster in th running game as he finished his solid afternoon with 189 yards with three touchdowns. Quarterback Aaron Chase compiled one rush and one passing touchdown.
The Giants were down 14-7 at halftime and were outscored 21-13 in the second half. Keystone tallied 300 yards of total offense and were 5-for-11 on third down conversions.
Keystone will travel to Hobart College next Saturday, Sept. 23 at 6 p.m. St. John Fisher will host Landmark Conference rival Wilkes University on the same day at 4 p.m.
