LA PLUME, Pa.- The Keystone College women's soccer team blanked Wells College 8-0 for the team's first win of the season. Keystone moves to 1-4 as Wells falls to 0-3.
Hailey Dunham (Southgate, Mich./Inter-City Baptist) scored twice and added one assist. Victory Frantz (Mifflintown, Pa./Juniata) and Chloe Hoffman (Danville, Pa./Danville Area) both scored two goals in the match. Brooke Freni (Glendora, N.J./Triton Regional) and Sarah Koster (Dumont, N.J./Dumont) added one goal apiece. Freni posted a match high two assists while Koster added one. Goalkeeper Annie Metzger (Chambersburg, Pa./Chambersburg Area) made six saves in the victory.
The Giants outshot the Express, 45-10, and had a 7-1 advantage on corner kicks. There were two yellow cards given in tonight's contest.
Keystone opens United East Conference play on Saturday, Sept. 23 at Rosemont College beginning at 12 p.m.
