LA PLUME, Pa. – Keystone College field hockey defeated Wilson College 2-0 on Saturday evening in their first conference game of the season.

Keystone is 6-2 on the season (1-0 United East) and Wilson is now 5-4 on the season (0-1 United East). This is Keystone's first win over Wilson since 2019. 

At the end of the first half, Miranda Mascia (Blakeslee, Pa./Pocono Mountain West) cashed in with Keystone's first goal with an assist from Lucia Cisilino (Tandil, Buenos Aires, Argentina/San Jose). Then in the fourth quarter the same two combined again for the Giants' second goal, with Mascia scoring and  Cisilino adding with the assist.

For Wilson, goalkeeper Allyson Shindler ended the day with 7 saves.

Keystone's next matchup will be at home next week as they take on Stevens Institute of Technology on Wednesday (Oct 4) at 7:00 PM.
