LA PLUME, Pa. – After losing a nail-biter on the road against Rosemont College on Monday (Jan 22) Keystone men's basketball found their way to victory against the Ravens at home in another close contest.
This victory moves Keystone to a record of 7-12 overall and 7-4 in the United East Conference. With the loss, Rosemont moves to 4-15 overall and 3-7 in conference play.
Jack Anderson (Davie, Fla./Western) was the Giants leading scorer with 20 points on the day, while Kamdyn Ayers (Fort Lauderdale, Fla./Western) helped the team offensively with nine assists in the game. Defensively, Dashaun Johnson contributed three blocks and four defensive rebounds. Brandon Scott (Cheltenham, Pa./Cheltenham) followed closely behind with two blocks and five defensive rebounds.
For Rosemont, Zaki Gomez was the leading scorer with 23 points and led the team in steals with three. The Ravens defensive efforts were led by Brian Mordi who had 10 total rebounds, eight of which were on defense. Mordi also had one block and one steal on the day.
Keystone men's basketball will be on the road on Wednesday (Jan. 31) for another conference matchup against Bryn Athyn College, game will start at 7:00 PM.
