Men’s Basketball Upsets Bryn Athyn on the Road

BRYN ATHYN, Pa.- The Keystone College men's basketball team picked up a key Skye Division victory as they knocked off first place Bryn Athyn College 82-76 Wednesday evening.

With the win, Keystone improves to 8-12 (8-4 United East Skye Division). Bryn Athyn snaps their seven-game win streak and drops to 16-6 (11-2 United East Skye Division).

Jack Anderson (Davie, Fla./Western) scored 24 points and dished out four assists. Brandon Scott (Cheltenham, Pa./Cheltenham) recorded a double-double with 21 points and 10 rebounds. Tyler Fox (Fort Lauderdale, Fla./Cardinal Gibbons) contributed 12 points and two assists off the bench. DaShaun Johnson (Montgomery Village, Md./Clarksburg) and D'Andre Sutherland (Miramar, Fla./West Broward) combined for 17 points and nine rebounds.

Bryn Athyn was led by Will Little who scored 18 points. Keith Bullock Jr. and Jalen Parker both had 17 points on the night. Parker grabbed 17 boards and tallied four blocks.

Keystone held a 42-27 lead at the end of the first half. Bryn Athyn crawled their way back into the game where they started to trail by single digits. Despite outscoring Keystone 49-40 in the second half, their comeback efforts fell short.

The Giants host Wilson College Saturday, Feb. 3 at 3 p.m.
