WILKES-BARRE, Pa.- The Keystone College wrestling team took part in the John Reese Duals hosted by Wilkes University Sunday morning.
As a team, Keystone suffered three defeats as they fell to Wilkes (44-12), Ithaca (47-6), and Springfield (46-6).
CJ Riccobono (New Hyde Park, N.Y./New Hyde Park Memorial) was the star of today's dual meets as he picked up three victories on the day at 165 pounds. Riccobono picked up a win by fall versus Wilkes's Carson Wells. He later earned a victory by decision over Matthew Duquette of Springfield College, 13-7. His match against Ithaca resulted in a forfeit.
Rocco Arduini (Harpursville, N.Y./Harpursville) grabbed two wins at the 285-pound weight class. Arduini tallied a win by fall against Trevor Gitski of Wilkes followed by an 8-6 decision triumph versus Springfield's Benjamin Katz.
Codi Bomboy (Montrose, Pa./Elk Lake) defeated Daniel Clark of Penn College in an exhibition bout at 165 pounds.
Keystone heads to Lycoming College next Sunday, Feb. 4 to compete in the Rennie Rodarmel All State Invitational starting at 10:30 p.m.
