BRYN ATHYN, Pa.- The Keystone College women's basketball team saw its four-game win streak snap as they suffered a 66-45 loss to Bryn Athyn College Tuesday night.
Keystone goes to 9-12 (7-7 United East Skye Division) and Bryn Athyn moves to 13-6 (10-4 United East Skye Division).
Bry Hicks (Lancaster, Pa./Lancaster Catholic) scored a game high 15 points with six rebounds. Anyah Ortiz (Reading, Pa./Governor Mifflin) added 14 points and five rebounds.
Four Lions finished in double figures as Zhymani Smith posted a near double-double with 18 points, nine rebounds, and four assists. Kaylia Duncan totaled 13 points, five assists, and three rebounds. Alayna Day scored 12 points while Alexa Osafo-Mensah recorded a double-double with 11 points and 15 rebounds.
Keystone offensively struggled as they shot an even 25 percent in this evening's game. The Giants were outscored 24-10 in the first half. They did show improvement as the team combined for 35 points in the second half.
The Giants would look to rebound from tonight's defeat on Saturday, Feb. 3 as they host Wilson College at 1 p.m. in the Gambal Athletic Center.
